March 9, 2019 - Dixon Bags Top 10 Finish in Jerry Whiteaker Memorial Finale at South Texas Speedway
Thursday night saw Phil Dixon kick off the 2019 season at South Texas Speedway (Corpus Christi, Texas) for the inaugural Jerry Whiteaker Memorial. Competing in a stout field of 55 Limited Modifieds, Dixon followed up a 3rd place finish in his heat with a runner-up spot in his B-Main behind Chris Brown. Earning the 17th-starting position for the opening night feature, Phil charged through the field ten spots to place 7th.

Returning on Friday, Phil started the night off with a heat race victory positioning him 2nd on the starting grid for the A-Main. With his performance on Thursday and Friday, Dixon had already locked into the Saturday's $8,900-to-win finale. Rolling off 4th, Phil Dixon suffered transmission issues early that forced him to run the remaining distance with limited power. He salvaged a 7th place finish in the 60-lap affair.

December 20, 2018 - Phil Dixon Wraps Up 2018 Season
Phil Dixon traveled to a total of 35 events during the 2018 season aboard his Best Auto Parts/ Fast 1 Speed Shop #A1 Durham Racing Engines Open Wheel Modified. Losing eight of his scheduled dates to bad weather, Dixon recorded 17 Top-10 outings and four Top-5 finishes.

December 1, 2018 - Phil Dixon Attends VP Racing Fuels Gateway Dirt Nationals; Suffers Flat-Tire in Friday Feature
Phil Dixon returned to action on Thursday evening at The Dome at America’s Center (St. Louis, Missouri) kicking off the 3rd annual VP Racing Fuels Gateway Dirt Nationals. With 56 Open Wheel Modifieds registered in for action, Dixon registered the ninth fastest time in his qualifying group before scoring a 3rd place finish in his heat race. Earning the 9th-starting position for the $3,000-to-win preliminary feature on Saturday, Phil suffered a right-rear flat tire that dropped him back to a 19th place outing.

Failing to lock his spot into the $10,000-to-win finale with his early departure in the feature on Friday evening, Dixon needed a 3rd place finish in his B-Main on Saturday to make the show. July 28, 2018 - Dixon Wraps Up Summer Skid With Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury American Legion Speedway
Friday night found Phil Dixon back in action in the Land of Lincoln for the 29th annual Prairie Dirt Classic at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois). Drawing a stout field of 61 UMP DIRTcar Modified entries for four rounds of qualifying features, Dixon experienced issues with a secondary car throughout the night that resulted in a 15th place finish. On Saturday night starting on the tail of his B-Main, Phil improved four positions to place 10th. Relying on a provisional into the $5,000-to-win finale, Phil passed nine cars in the 40-lap feature reeling in a 14th place outing.

July 14, 2018 - Phil Dixon Wraps up DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour; Raced 25 Times in 31 Days
Phil Dixon returned with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals on Monday night for the rescheduled event at Lincoln Speedway (Lincoln, Illinois). In a field 25 Open Wheel Modifieds, Dixon laid down the second fastest time in his group behind Ray Bollinger before placing 2nd in his heat behind Bollinger. Earning the 4th-starting position for the A-Main, Phil dropped three spots in the 25-lapper logging a 7th place finish.

On Tuesday night at Shadyhill Speedway (Medaryville, Indiana), Dixon secured his spot into the feature with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Bobby Stremme. Falling short of a Top-5 finish, Phil landed a 7th place spot.

The following night at Thunderbird Raceway (Muskegon, Michigan), Phil followed up the fourth fastest time overall in qualifying with a 4th place finish in his heat. Starting the feature in 10th, Dixon was battling for a Top-5 finish when contact with an infield tire dropped him back to an 11th place outing.

On Thursday night at I-96 Speedway (Lake Odessa, Michigan), Dixon registered the fourth fastest time overall in qualifying but slipped over the outside berm in the opening laps of his heat race that sent him flipping. He was able to walk away from the violent wreck unharmed.

Bringing an end to the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour, Phil Dixon stopped at Oakshade Raceway (Wauseon, Ohio) on Friday for the two-day Birthday Race Weekend. With 22 Open Wheel Modifieds on hand, Phil was running in 3rd in his heat race when he was taken out by another competitor. Relying on a provisional into the show, Phil Dixon advanced through the field 10 spots reeling in a 9th place outing.

On Saturday evening, Dixon dropped one spot in his heat race to place 4th. Earning the 10th-starting position for the finale, Phil slipped back to a 16th place finish.

July 8, 2018 - Dixon Competes in Challenge Week of Hell Tour
For the third week of the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour, Phil Dixon headed to Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tennessee) on Tuesday night. Following the third fastest time in his qualifying group, Phil posted a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Lucas Lee locking him into the 4th-starting position for the feature. Getting smacked from behind on the opening lap, Dixon suffered extensive body damage but hung on to an 8th place finish.

The following night at Fayette County Speedway (Brownstown, Illinois) with 31 Open Wheel Modifieds registered in for action, Dixon posted a 9th place finish in the feature.

On Thursday night at Macon Speedway (Macon, Illinois) for the Herald & Review 100, Phil earned the 17th-starting position for the A-Main via preliminary events. Wheeling his way into a podium spot, Dixon passed 14 cars in the 25-lapper to place 3rd behind Mike Harrison and Kenny Wallace with David Shain and Rusty Griffaw completing the Top-5 finishers. For the 16th stop of the tour on Friday at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois), Phil jumped up two spots in his heat to place 5th. Starting the feature in 17th, Dixon passed nine cars reeling in an 8th place finish.

On Saturday night at Highland Speedway (Highland, Illinois), Phil Dixon improved five spots in the feature to place 9th.

Wrapping up the Challenge Week of the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour, Phil stopped at Quincy Raceways (Quincy, Illinois) on Sunday.
